The main drawback to this unit is that you must research the Wheel before you can unlock it, but once you have it, you can more than compete with the other units of the Ancient Era. The Markabata is a powerful, ranged chariot unit. You can always use the Builder Culture trait, Land Raiser, to create an Industry boom for the chosen City and mass-produce Districts at a cost to your other resources. Using the Legacy Trait of the Egyptians, you can build Districts quicker than your opponents, and you should use this to your advantage to build your unique District the Egyptian Pyramid, this District gives you a nice increase to your Industry and a Workers Slot for your City.
